Happen to like sports? The PGA of America is moving its headquarters to Frisco, TX! It will include 600-acre of mixed us development. The project will include two championship golf courses, 10-hole short course and practice areas totaling 46 holes; a clubhouse; Class AA office space; a 500-room Omni resort with attached 127,000 square-foot conference center; a technologically advanced retail village; parks and open space plus several miles of trails to complement the unique signature development. The golf courses are expected to open in the summer of 2022.
If you are a sports fan be sure to check out The Frisco Star. Frisco is home to several professional sports teams Dallas Cowboys, FC Dallas, Frisco RoughRidgers, Dallas Stars as well as the Texas Legends. Sporting events are hosted often by Frisco throughout the year.
Food, There’s food too at The Frisco Star. Pizza, Pho, Mexican cuisine, BBQ and Sushi to name a few. Frisco houses over 300 restaurants. Some of my favorites are Trophy Park, Randy’s Steakhouse, La Hacienda Ranch, Sushi Marquee and last but not least The Common Table. Might I add my dog loves this place! Whether simple, exquisite or somewhere in between Frisco has you covered!
There is no reason to the leave your dog at home. Frisco offers pet friendly hotel and restaurants for your furry friend to tag along. Frisco has over 40 parks, 90 miles of trails and is considered a “Bicycle Friendly” community.
Frisco has a ton of activities and interesting things to do. There is plenty of fun in Frisco.
